What Can We Talk About?

Your consultation begins with your medical history, current medications, symptoms and concerns. Depending on your needs and the services appropriate to our practice, the conversation may include hormone-related changes, perimenopause or menopause concerns, sexual wellness and other women's wellness questions.

If a concern requires care outside the scope of our practice, we'll tell you. A consultation should help you understand the right next step, even when that step isn't a treatment at New You.

Personalized Medical Guidance

There isn't one plan that fits every woman. Recommendations depend on your history, symptoms, appropriate testing and clinical evaluation.

Owner Holly Burman, NP, brings approximately 20 years of experience as an OB-GYN nurse practitioner to New You Aesthetic and our approach to women's health and hormone care.

Bloodwork & Ongoing Monitoring

When lab testing is appropriate for your treatment plan, we don't just check your bloodwork once and send you on your way. Your provider may order labs before treatment, at follow-up intervals and annually so we can continue to monitor your response and make clinically appropriate adjustments.

New You Aesthetic can coordinate the bloodwork needed for care we provide. Patients are responsible for the cost of required lab testing, and recommended timing and costs will be explained as part of your plan.

Not necessarily. Hormones may be part of the conversation, but a women's wellness consultation can begin more broadly with the concerns you're experiencing.

Will I need lab work?

That depends on your symptoms and treatment plan. If testing is appropriate, your provider will explain what is recommended, why it is needed and how we will use follow-up bloodwork to monitor your care.

Will I receive medication at the consultation?

Any medication or treatment recommendation depends on an appropriate medical evaluation and your individual needs.
