What Is VAMP™?
VAMP is a professional topical serum made by Prollenium Medical Technologies. Its formula combines PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide), hyaluronic acid, vitamins, amino acids and minerals in a sterile solution designed for professional topical use.
The PDRN in VAMP is derived from purified salmon DNA. PDRN is made up of DNA fragments and has been studied in several areas of medicine and skin research. Research into topical PDRN used with cosmetic procedures continues to evolve, so we prefer to explain what we're actually using rather than promise that one ingredient performs miracles.
Why Pair VAMP with Microneedling?
Microneedling creates controlled microchannels in the skin. VAMP is applied topically as part of the treatment, allowing the professional serum to be incorporated into the microneedling protocol.
The VAMP formula includes ingredients selected to support the appearance of hydrated, revitalized skin, including hyaluronic acid along with its PDRN, vitamin, amino-acid and mineral blend.

What Happens During the Treatment?

Your provider will review post-treatment skincare and what to avoid while your skin barrier recovers.
What Is the Downtime?
Microneedling can cause temporary redness, warmth, tightness, sensitivity, dryness, swelling or peeling. Recovery varies from person to person and with treatment intensity.
We recommend allowing adequate recovery time before an important event instead of assuming you'll look completely untouched the following morning.
When Will I See Results?
Microneedling results develop gradually as the skin heals and collagen remodeling occurs. Changes in skin texture and appearance may continue to develop during the weeks following treatment.

These treatments sound similar because the aesthetic industry has never met an acronym it didn't love, but they are not the same.
PDRN + Microneedling with VAMP: VAMP is a prepared professional topical serum containing PDRN, hyaluronic acid, vitamins, amino acids and minerals.
SkinPen + PRF: PRF is prepared from a sample of your own blood and contains concentrated platelets within a fibrin-rich blood product.
Neither is automatically “better.” They are different treatment options. Your provider can help determine which approach fits your skin, preferences and goals.
Is VAMP Injected?
No. The VAMP product we use for this treatment is intended for professional topical use. It should not be injected.
This is an important distinction from injectable PRF or other injectable aesthetic treatments.
Who May Not Be a Candidate?
Microneedling and VAMP are not appropriate for everyone. Active skin disease or infection, certain medical conditions, allergies, medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and other factors can affect candidacy.

Does VAMP replace microneedling?
